Is this too price too high? BLT

We were in the same boat... offered a fair bit more than some of the lower deals you see out there for our SSR resale that we're currently in the ROFR wait on. But we wanted to close quickly and I'm a lot more focused on the savings of ~ 90pp vs buying direct than with the last couple of dollars per point negotiating on the resale. You also never know - it might not be April or even anytime soon, but when Disney does start up the buybacks again there will be a lot incredible deals that evaporate, and prices could move up pretty quickly when that occurs. I personally have the feeling that Disney is letting the market find a bottom and will use the opportunity to snap up a lot of contracts at bargain basement prices when they feel like that low point is reached.

Also good to think about - less than a year ago Disney was ROFRing contracts at BLT for $170 and direct prices are still way over $200, so in that light you're getting an awfully good deal!

We decided not to continue with the purchase. I felt like we had a fair deal even tho' it was a not rock-bottom price as some are getting.

While we were OK with the price, we decided against it for two main reasons. First, we already have a monorail resort 11 month window at GF. Second, and perhaps the biggest reason, the studios look quite small. I had heard they were small and looked at the layouts, but after watching videos, felt like it wouldn't work for our family. Especially the bathroom size.

I do love the resort and have stayed at the Contemporary, just not BLT. We do look forward to trying it out as it is a lovely resort. I am disappointed but felt like it was the right thing to do.

We are now looking at our other options.

Studio size at BLT is definitely small in comparison. It’s one reason why VGF overtook it for our favorite MK resort!
