Is this too much for Sheraton Vistana Village?

My aunt told me last night that they owned 3 condos at Sheraton Vistana Village. The quote she gave me for Easter Break week was $1500 for that week. Today, I looked around and thought that might be a little expensive. Can anyone tell me if this is too much to pay?

Easter break would definitely be an expensive time to stay at any resort in Orlando, I would think. Is this price for a 2-bedroom?

No, it is a one bedroom.
I just thought it sounded kind of high. Been looking around on the internet and starting to find vacation home rentals that are much cheaper. Just not sure about renting a vacation home, never done before.

Renting a vacation home direct is going to be definetly cheaper 9 out of 10 times. I would start by looking at these sites:

www.onlinefloridavillas.com

Then I'd also look through some of the threads here on pool homes. It will give you a base to make a decision about.

I cannot comment about the rate for the Vistana-- I've never stayed there.

$1500 for a 1-bedroom is VERY high. I would go with kilee's advice to look for a vacation home.

I have a 2 bedroom booked directly thru Starwood's website for under $1200 for April 7-14 (booked this past fall).
