We are going to MNSSHP, on October 5. Today I made our PS for LTT, but the earliest opening was 6:10. I'm so thankful for these boards or I wouldn't have even known I could call know. I had it scheduled to call 60 days out.

I read somewhere that if you are already in the park, with your wristband, you can stay for that hour between park closing, and before they let everyone else in. Will we be missing out if we don't take advantage of this. How crowded is that hour? We have a 5 Y.O. and might turn into pumpkins before midnight.

I couldn't believe LTT is booking so quickly. Maybe I can get an earlier seating due/to a cancellation.

Thanks for any input.:)

I don't think it is too late. Character meals seem to take about an hour. We've eaten at the LTT for dinner twice and had good service both times. Even if it takes a little longer, you'll still be done and standing in the middle of the park while most are still walking down Main Street or making their way to Liberty Square (where you already are)!

Those MNSSHP guests that are allowed to stay in the park between 5 and 6 are "herded" into Tommorowland (it may have been Fantasyland, one year, not sure) while the CMs ready the park for the party. The party guests are not allowed to wander the whole park. IIRC, the rides and at least one Counter Service restaurant in the chosen land were open, though.

I don't think you will miss much (if anything at all) by using the "in between" time to enjoy a character meal.

Have fun!
