If we get to Epcot at rope drop (April 25 - park opens at 9) do you think it will be possible to wait standby for Character Spot, then Spaceship Earth, and make it to Test Track by 10 to make the end of our FP+ window?

I'm not sure how long Character Spot will take. Spaceship Earth often has a fairly long line early in the day, as it is the first thing people see on the way into the park, and many just jump in line. You might do better off to hit Test Track after the Character Spot, you shouldn't have much trouble with that (and there is a bit of a leeway if you are late, I think 10 or 15 minutes) and then do Spaceship Earth a bit later. Once that initial wave of guests get through, the line for Spaceship Earth should be more manageable.

I think you'd have plenty of time. Character spot should be a walk on (in?) at RD. I don't think it takes long (I've never done that one, but every M&G I've ever done has been a few minutes at most) so SSE will have a line of max ten minutes - so if you get there 9:15 - board 9:25 - off 9:40 - you're at TT by 9:45. Should have no issue, and I bet it goes even faster than that.

Can you move your FP back to maybe like 9:15-10:15?

I think it should be okay. If you get to the Character Spot first, you should be out of there pretty quickly (almost certainly less than 15 minutes). You can double check the wait time for Spaceship Earth before you get on and decide then whether to do it before or after Test Track.

Plus, there's a 15 minute grace period built into the end of your FP+, so you've got a little bit of fudge room there, too.

Granted, I haven't been in there with Soarin' closed, but most people are still going to prioritize Test Track and Mission: Space at rope drop, and Spaceship Earth's line moves quickly, since it's a continuous loading dock.

Sometimes they'll let you in 5-10 minutes before the official opening time, too, so try to get to the gate 30-15 minutes before opening.

Have fun!

It would be a hectic dash of hoping everything goes exactly right. I would honestly do your FP for Test Track then head to character spot and then later check out Spaceship Earth.

I just checked to see if I could push the time back, but there aren't any times available until much later.

We plan to be lined up to meet Mulan at 10:45 at the latest.

Right now I have my TT FP+ from 9:05-10:05 and a FP+ for Character Spot from 10:10-11:10.

My original plan was to do Spaceship Earth first thing at rope drop, then head to TT (FP+)and then go to Character Spot(FP+). Hoping to be done with Character Spot by 10:30ish.

However, now I'm second guessing myself (why couldn't I have thought of this way back when I booked FP+!?) and thinking it is a lot of back and forth. So now I am debating doing Character Spot standby at rope drop, then if the wait is short and we have time, doing Spaceship Earth. Either way, maybe change my Character Spot FP+ to a Spaceship Earth FP+ for later in the day...just in case we don't make it. Then make sure to get to the TT FP+ by 10.

Agh.....just not sure which option makes most sense...considering meeting Mulan at her 11:00 meet and greet is non negotiable.

Swap the Character Spot FP for Spaceship Earth later and then standby Character Spot when you see it is low. That way you can do Test Track then slowly make your way over to Mulan. You will want to be at the ropes by China before 11 am when they take them down and let you go back. Also at that point you can ask the CM if Mulan is in that day or if she is not. Mulan isn't gone often but it happens since she is non negotiable I'd make her priority #1.

You can't line up to meet Mulan at 10:45 - the world showcase doesn't open until 11:00
