Is this the latest phishing email from "Amazon.com"?

It said, "Dear" and then my email address. Does anyone know where to send suspicious emails?

Yes I got that one about a month ago and it was a fake. I notified Amazon through their website directly don't go through the links. The only hassle was that my account did get frozen for a few days while they checked it out. Good luck and contact Amazon.

I got the same one and wrote here about it a few days ago. I deleted them, so far I havent got anymore. I had actually placed items in my cart off their site one day last week and just never followed through with the purchase when I noticed how long the back order was. So I almost clicked the link sent in that mail thinking they were trying to finish the order. Thank goodness I didnt.

I got that one too. I always forward those phishing emails (as attachment) to the companies in question, so they can investigate. I don't know if it helps, but it makes me feel better! I hate to think of anyone's getting scammed by them because sometimes they look very authentic.

This is from the Amazon site:

Create a new e-mail to stop-spoofing@amazon.com and attach the original, spoofed e-mail. Sending the e-mail as an attachment is the best way to preserve the "header information," which makes it easier for Amazon.com to trace the origin of the forgery.
