Is this the last week for costumes?

I was just curious if this is the last week for new costumes?
October doesn't officially end till next tuesday but i wasn't sure about the costume release schedule. Now correct me if I'm wrong but we still should get a Halloween pin tomorrow (friday) like previous weeks. That should be the last.

According to the main page newsletter, this weeks costume release is dated as: 10/23 - 10/31 Which leads me to believe that what is for sale now, will remain in shops until VMK closes on Halloween.

There is always room for a surprise release, but call me cynical if you will - I am not holding my breath (I will remain at the ready with credits though )

As far as the pin release - yes, we should see the last pin in this series in the Emporium tomorrow morning...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Yavn said in his newsletter that all of the costumes will be coming back. Are you thinking Monday/Tuesday rerelease of everything we've gotten thusfar?

I agree with Pirate-Emery that on Halloween-Eve they will re-release everything that came out this Month. I hope that Lauraberz is correct - That would be AWESOME (especially a prince outfit, we boys need one!)!!, but...

I agree Dizpinfriend, I'm beefing-up my credits again, but I don't actually expect anything NEW new.

And yet Yavn said in the newsletter when asked about new and old costumes he said "Yes there would be new and old" and when asked about Would there be Witches and other costumes he said "Of course" So all those answers he keeps saying yes too tells me we should still get more NEW costumes? I wasn't here last year but I heard from others that they release certain new costumes on Halloween and just that one day? So I myself am keeping my hopes and my credits ups to be ready for them just in case!!

Not only do I agree with this theory, I wanted to throw another part of
this out there for you to think about:

Did any of you catch the Thursday night host quest tasks that changed
from week to week? From what I can remember, the word scrambles had
what we could dress as for Halloween. We had:

Snow White
Jafar
Little Mermaid
Minnie Mouse
Dracula

Were there any others? I can't seem to recall, but I may have missed some.
I don't remember if Maleficent was one of the answers, but if it was, I
am hoping I get the rest of her outfit.

I'm sure the Ariel outfit would be uh, interesting.

No, I King Grumpy do not think so!!!!!!! I agree that they will come out with some costumes to match some hats. Which ones they will be - well - maybe, only Yavn knows??????? I would be very surprised to see this happen. They have never, to my memory, released a hat and then later a complete costume to go with it. I'm thinking of the sorcerer hat, Musketeer hat, and Peter Pan hat. The pink princess hat might be an exception, but I don't believe it's really considered to be part of the pink princess costume. (And it was added after the dress, I think.)

Still, there's a first time for everything. I hope I'm proven wrong!

I have seen players put a very nice Snow White costume together with the pieces we have now. Just add the hair, and voila!

This is true. I've been playing since early September last year, and here's what happened...

In the vmk well... information (no such thing as a newsletter back then ) it told us about all these new costumes. I myself got very excited for the princess dresses. Pretty much, they were sold like this: (not actual dates)
10/20:Blue dress
10/21:Gold dress
10/22ink dress
10/23:Yellow explorer
10/24:Green explorer
10/25:Gray mansion
10/26:Black mansion
10/27:Cowboy suit
10/28:Native american suit

Then, after these were released day after day, they would last until the last one was sold (which I believe was the blue dress, making it very rare) and the last day, they took them all out at once (they were all at the emporium). The next month is when the following came out like this (not actual dates):

Green flip hat: 11/1-11/8
Sorcerer mickey ears- 11/9-11/15
Princess hat- 11/16-11/22
Musketeer hat- 11/23-11/29
Peter pan hat- 11/29-11/30
This way, people had a good amount of time with buying them, like this year's halloween.

Aww, it's nice to dream, though.

The Snow White comment made me think of "Just add water", but in this
case, "Just add hair". Heh heh. <snort>
