I ordered this yesterday because they were having a special rebate that brought it down to $25. Do you think it'll be adequate for my Canon S2 IS for taking brief videos?

Do any of you have experience with this brand? I'm just curious if it's reliable. I didn't want to cheap out, but I've got to put the brakes on my pre-trip spending.

Kingston is a good brand, one of the big ones. And good you got the high speed card, as the video does really need those. Enjoy. And $25 is GREAT!!!! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that! If I'd known the $25 deal was just a one-day sale with it, I would have bought two. I have a 256 mg card I can use for pictures, then take short video clips on the 1 mg. and upload them all to my laptop when I get back to the room.

Kelly, I didn't even look at our Walmart. The prices I saw for the 1 gb cards were starting in the $40s and went up to around $100, so it seemed like a great deal to me. :teeth:

When I clicked on your link, all I see was US$41, that's why I said it's no different than our WalMart. Where do you see the $25 price?

It must have just been on Saturday. They had the $41 price crossed out and lowered it to $35, and then offered a $10 rebate bringing it down to $25. I really wish I would have bought two at that price and at least mentioned on the forum so other people would have known!
