I realize the days of $150 round trip are gone, and I have been watching the air for over 2 months now. The cheapest I can find is $327.00 out of Boston, I will do Providence or Hartford as well. I can't due AirTran or Southwest because there is no seating until at the airport and due to my 2 DD's severe food allergies we need to have assigned seating. Is this reasonable in todays market. We are traveling 8-19 to 8-27-06. Do you think prices will come down or just continue up not sure what to do but if the prices go higher I'm going to have to cancel the trip. Thanks for any imput,
Shelby

Call Southwest. They were very accomodating regarding my nephew's peanut allergy. He was able to board first and sit up front.

I ran your dates on a few sites (http://www.sidestep.com and http://www.kayak.com) that search multiple airlines and options and didn't find much in the BOS/PVD/BDL/MHT to MCO routes. Delta did have this non-stop option that wasn't cheap at $249, but was cheaper than what you were seeing:

Leave:
Aug 19 8:40 am Depart Hartford (BDL)
Arrive Tampa (TPA) 11:25 am Non-stop
Alternate airport
Return:
Aug 27 6:35 pm Depart Tampa (TPA)
Arrive Hartford (BDL) 9:22 pm Non-stop

One other option if you can leave on the 20th is Allegiant out of Worcester for $99 each way, although by the time you pay taxes and the fees for reserved seats it is very close to the Delta numbers for BDL to TPA.

Tampa to DW isn't a bad drive if you're renting a car anyhow to get around anyhow. The I-4 roadwork isn't usually happening on weekends so you miss that delay/mess.

I haven't seen any fare sales for the later summer months, so I have to bet that even with airfare going up due to fuel costs, there will still be summer sales in the $225 roundtrip nonstop range offered soon by DL or JB. Good luck!!

I would go with SW or Air Tran if they are cheaper. Assigned seats on other airlines don't always stick, so I wouldn't pay more for it.
