can 1 dvc member make 2 reservations for the same night?
can 2 dvc members call and make 2 different reservations at the same time?

thought i'd ask here before i call member services... thanks! :)

Not sure if I understand your questions.

But, I booked 3 studios for the same dates at BLT which I now switched at the 7 month mark into a Grand Villa at OKW.

do you mean at the same resort? or a different resort on the same night?

MS told me if I wanted to reserve the same night at two different resorts it would have to be under two different names

there are 12 of us planning a food and wine fest trip... we are thinking of 3 studios at BWV or BCV if we can snag them...(cheaper points then a grand villa)
I am short on points and instead of renting them from Disney or another member, my friend offered to book one night for me with her points...
however she can't transfer them because they are already borrowed points... we would like to call together to make her reservation and my reservation at the same time to make sure we are staying at the same resort...

hope that wasn't too confusing lol....
there is one other dvc family reserving the 3rd studio but won't be able to call with us...
thanks for your help!

Member Services might allow you to do a 3-way call, but it seems like to much work. Just call, make sure all nights are available, then book your nights, then have your friend call book her one night. On the tiny chance she can't book her room, cancel and start over.

The bigger issue is you will have separate reservations for that one night. Kinda a pain. If she can't transfer her points to you, can you transfer your points to her?

I had a 5-day ressie at OKW for a 2-BR for our wedding week. I called back and added a studio at BLT for the night of the wedding under the same ressie number. It was no big deal and I did not have to use a different name.

I would do a 3 way call for that. We stayed last month in a GV where I booked half the week and our friends booked the other half. We just called MS and had them connect to our friends. With that three way call, the MS person was able to link our ressies. That way we didn't have to risk moving. It was super easy with the new system, and the MS person said that was one of the main advantages of the new booking system.

We do 3-way calls with our daughter all the time. Its fast and easy.

thank you so much! we call in 2 weeks! looking forward to our 4 day adults only trip! :) fingers crossed we can get Boardwalk or Beach Club!
