I'm planning on going to MGM one or two mornings during my trip, and then having lunch at World Showcase. Both of my lunch ADRs are at noon. Would I be able to see the 10:30 showing of Lights, Motors, Action, and still be able to walk to Epcot, to make it to my meals?

I'm not sure how far the walk is from MGM to Epcot, but Lights, Motors, Action is only like 35 min long or something, so you will be done about 11 am.. and I believe you would still be able to make it to Epcot.

Again, I don't know how long it takes to walk there (actually I didn't know you could walk there).

You can walk, there is a walkway that runs behind the Boardwalk Resort. You can also take the Friendship boat. It leaves from MGM and stops at the Swan and Dolphin, Beach Club and Boardwalk before continuing on to Epcot. I think it is about a 30 minute ride total. But I have only gone as far as the Beach Club. It is a nice ride and the back entrance to Epcot is rarely crowded. Enjoy!

My guess is you will be cutting it close, but no big deal if you're just a little late for your ADR, so I say go for it!

Here's what I was planning on allowing time-wise.

10:30 - 11:00 - Lights, Motors, Action
11:00 - 11:15 - Get from the show to MGM entrance
11:15 - 11:45 - Walk to Epcot, from what I've read, takes about 20 - 30 minutes. I don't want to take the boat, unless it's right there when I get out of Epcot, since I they always seem to go slow when I have to get somewhere. LOL.
11:45 - 12:00 - From International Gateway, walk to Japan. The ADR is at Teppanyaki, which is the better day to do this, instead of the first day.

It sounds like you can make it, besides. Disney is good with reservations, and leway. I never had a problem being 10 15 minutes late. Even at the most crowded of places.

I think you would make it - if there is a boat there and you take it, you can also get off of the boat at the Swan, walk across the bridge to the Boardwalk, around the boardwalk to Int'l Gateway (Epcot) - we always found that we beat the boat (which stops first at Swan/Dolphin, then Y&BC, then Boardwalk, then Int'l Gateway) when going to the Boardwalk - so, unless you're really tired or have little, slow walkers, you could try that trick! :thumbsup2 PS: Sit near the end of a row or at least near the bottom of the stands at LMA! - it can take a while to get out of that stadium! :smooth:
