I need help...

We are going to be on Disney property for one day. Whiel I wish we could spend several days there it is not possible (a cruise on the next day) We were planing to visit one park (Epcot), but want to maybe visit others, or at least one more.

Does anyone have a strategy for visiting several parks and experiencing the high points?

We will be in the parks on Saturday, August 5th. TOo bad it is not some other day because we could take advantage of early openings or late openings, but other than MGM we will be limited...

Are we crazy? (well crazier than normal) Any ideas?

If you research each park and just pick out the highlights for you, you could do a half-day at 2 parks. Just dont assume you can go on everything and you should be able to have a good time.

AK is a park that we usually spend a half day at, even though we really like it!
MGM is a small park and it's easy to walk from one end to the other.
EPCOT is probably the hardest, since we can't even do that in one day. The sheer size of the park means that unless you just do one side, you could be there for a long time. Also, the attractions tend to be long, limiting the number of them you can do in a day.

If you read one of the many guides out there (Unofficial Guide is what we used) they list all the attractions, their locations and duration. You could pr-plan well and have 2 half days at 2 park if you really wanted to. Or you may find that there is more than enough in EPCOT for a day and just stay there.

Good luck -- I hope I was able to help you a bit!

On our last visit we did MK in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon, hitting only those rides/attractions that were "must do's" on our list. Of course we didn't see everything, but we did enjoy the day. Don't forget to be at the park BEFORE it opens, which will allow you to do much more in a shorter amount of time.

MGM is a short walk from EPCOT, so that would be the most efficient use of your time. They're my two favorite parks also!

I will pose it to the group and let the majority decide...

personally, I'm up for it!

(some people never grow up!)
