Out of curiosity for my upcoming trip, i was checking resort availability. My week of travel is March 14- 19. All moderates, Deluxe, and Value Resorts show NO AVAILABILITY! Eeek! If this is true, do you think that the parks will close from reaching capacity this week? I am so freaking out, as i was going alone with my little girl, for the first time, and hoping for less crowds, and less fear of getting lost etc. I have our ressies but I guess I should of never checked availiability now.....

It is going to be crowded, but I would not worry about it closing to capacity. The anticipated attendance is not that Christma/New Years numbers...

Unfortunately you are going at a very busy time -- spring break for a lot of Canadians in the next two weeks, not sure if the U.S. has any spring breaks at this time as well.

If this is a repeat trip for you don' try to do everything, just your favorites. Get out of the parks mid day and go back in the late afternoon when everyone else is leaving. Take advantage of your pool at your hotel. Going in knowing it might be crowded is better than being surprised about it. Have fun!

This is a reflection as to why WDW has raised those hours so significantly I'm afraid.

I'm still surprised... went down around the same time last year and really didn't think crowds were that bad. Some lines were around an hour, but with good planning and fastpass use nothing was un-achievable. Maybe I am just overly optimistic and calm... or maybe am just ignorant to noticing lots of people :p

Last year at this time, we were still in the impending stages of the start of the war w/ Iraq. I think that was affecting quite a few travel plans.

That's our spring break, and I know several families from my area who will be there.

Just take your time, and enjoy!

It's our Spring Break too (Northwest Florida), and it's also Spring Break for Orlando schools as well. Not gonna be there though - we're going camping instead. :D

Odd because when I booked (22 Mar-29 Mar) I had my choice of all resorts.
I actually thought the tail end of march was busier than the week prior..am I wrong in thinking the park will be extremely crowded 22-29 March?
Thanks,
Janice

That's spring break week (15th-19th) for pretty much every unviverstiy and public school in this area.
