Is this possible? POP > DS > BW > Epcot

We are planning to take a bus from Pop to DS for dinner, but trying to figure out how to get back to Epcot WS the most efficient way. I read a suggestion to take a bus from DS to Boardwalk and go in the back entrance. Can someone tell me if that is actually possible, how it works, and how long of a walk that is? Is that using the boats (which my kids would think was super fun)

You can take a bus to the boardwalk or the yacht/beach club. Either way, it's about a 10 minute walk. I wouldn't recommend the boat, it would add quite a bit of time.

The walk from Boardwalk to Epcot International Gateway is extremely short. Much much shorter than the walk from the bus area of Epcot to world showcase

That would work no problem. The buses from DS can sometimes take a while but if you are not on a tight time schedule it shouldn't be a problem. When you get to the Boardwalk (or Beach Club would work too)you can either walk to the International Gateway or take the boat. It is not really that far. Check Robo's maps for more information. Actually, since the BW is the final loading point for the boat TO Epcot, the boat trip itself takes just about the same time as walking. Whether walking will be faster depends on how long you might wait for the boat. Coming from the bus stop at the BW in front of the hotel, you go down a flight of stairs and walk by the boat dock on the way to the Epcot International Gateway. The boat to Epcot loads on the right side of the dock (as you face the dock) while the boat to DHS loads on the left side. If an Epcot-bound boat is loading or approaching the dock from across the lake at the Y/B club, the time to get to the IG of Epcot is about the same whether walking or sailing. If you just missed a boat, definitely walk, since boats run at 15 to 20 minute frequency (it was 15 minutes for both our January and March stays this year).

If you take a bus to Y/B, definitely walk to the IG of Epcot. The boat dock that serves the Y/B Clubs and Villas is in the opposite direction along the lakeside walkway than the Epcot entrance. You will walk further to get to the boat dock than to get to the IG, and then the boat itself will stop at the BW before sailing on to Epcot.

BC is the closest resort stop to the WS entrance at Epcot so I'd go with that bus.

I've usually walked over to Saratoga Springs to catch a bus as it's right next to DS.

We did this last time and it worked fine, but the walkway to Saratoga Springs is at the far end of the Marketplace, near the old bus depots and the drop off for the water taxis. If you're dining anywhere other than the Marketplace, its a long walk to the Congress Park stop at Saratoga Springs which is the first bus stop you'll come upon when walking from Disney Springs.

If it were me, I'd also bus to BWI or BC/YC and then walk over to the International Gateway. The walks are very similar so I'd just pick whichever resort has the shorter bus line!
