Okay, so thanks to everyone here on the dis I've decided to try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast for this upcoming trip. Now problem is that there are only 2days where I can fit it into my schedule...the first being the first day we will have the dining plan...right now I have an 9am adr on that day and we will be staying at POP the night before (room only) and then checking in at BWV that day....
So I'm assuming we would have to check-in to BWV (after checking out at POP) before 9am and then head over to GF for our reservations...Is that nuts or workable??

Otherwise, I was thinking of doing it the last day of our trip (but at this point we will be staying at AKV) and I was kind of hoping for the kids to have some pool time before checking out, and with an early adr I don't know if that'll work.

Any advice is appreciated!

Is there a reason that you couldn't go to the Grand Floridian for 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and then do the check-out and check-in procedure? Oh, I see, you wanted to have the kids in the pool at POP before breakfast?

You don't say what type of transportation you will have (car, Disney bus). However, I guess it would work if you check out of Pop & into BWV early enough to allow yourself to get to GF by your ADR time. If you have a car, it should be a piece of cake. With Disney transportation, it will be a little more challenging, but still doable.

Okay...I think I confused everyone..including myself:confused3

Day 1 -- POP room only

Day 2 -- check out POP/check in at BWV (DDP for this stay)

(but would like to have breakfast at 1900 this morning)

Day 9 -- check out AKV (DDP for this stay)

(could do 1900 PF this day, but would like for the kids to go in the pool here before check out)

TIA!!

I don't think I was confused.

If you're willing & able to get up early, you should be able to do it all.

Oops...yes, we will have a car. Glad to here it's doable! Just have to convince hubby it's not too much trouble! ;)

Thanks!

Sorry...one more question for the experienced dis'ers...how much time do you think I should give myself?

TIA

I did something similar once before. We had stayed at All-Star Sports the night before checking into Saratoga Springs, where we would have the DDP. We had a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's for something like 7:45am. We woke up early to get ready and out of All-Star Sports, drove over to Saratoga Springs to check in around 7 am (which I think is the earliest they said we could check in), and our room was actually ready! We brought our stuff into our room and headed off to Chef Mickey's. We got to our reservation on time, ate breakfast, and headed to AK for opening. It was pretty crazy and a whirlwind, but it worked and I would do it again.

You had a car, which will make things a lot easier for you. Pop is right down the road from BWV. Barring any issues with check-in, it shouldn't take you too long to get through that. Since GF is a little bit of a drive from BWV, just make sure to give yourself enough time to get there (approximately 20 minutes).

Good luck! 1900 Park Fare is my favorite place to eat breakfast. :)

wow...thanks, your post definitely makes me feel confident that in can work after all! :)

Luckily we won't be at the parks the day before, so hopefully no one will be sleeping in! :yay:
