back in january I received a 40% off code. My h and I are separated and I decided to be brave and take the kids myself, so I went ahead and booked a room at the poly for october. I also invited a local friend and her d2 to join us for a couple of nights (put her on the ressie and everything), and have made some plans around that (crt breakfast and such).

now h and I are working on reconciling. its far from a done deal, but he definitely wants to go if we do work things out.

so in a nutshell, if he does come, I want to find another room for my friend for those 2 days that she planned to join us. unfortunately the code rate is long since past so I can't call and get a new room, even assuming availability. am wondering if they release ap rates will I be able to book her a room with one? I am not an ap holder but she is...could I book a room for her using her ap (she'll be the one staying in the room, after all, but I'll be the one paying for it).

any other suggestions? any chances of the poly even having an ap rate in october? I know we have gotten them before for that same week (the 19th) at the yc, but can't remember if the poly was also avail.

They let me book a room in my friends name with her Florida resident discount and I was able to use my cc for the deposit. I had really just called to see if the room was available - I didn't think they would let me make a reservation in somebody else's name...As for the AP rate - you don't have to have an AP to book the room. As long as she has it when she checks in, she'll be fine. What a good friend you are to pay for her room!
