i would not bank on the late use of your fastpass. if you do you are just riding for a fall. its not the way the system was designed so you are at the mercy of the training of the CM.

Your whole family could take the boat to MGM first thing in the morning...get fastpasses...maybe have breakfast then head to somewhere else or back to the boardwalk!!!!

I disagree. I definitely would bank on this. In all our years of going, we have never been turned away for using a fastpass late, and we have used hundreds of fastpasses. We have never seen anyone turned away either. Maybe people were turned away when popular attractions like Soarin', but not now.

However....just because one person, or many people, have been able to use their FP's way past the return time, does not guarantee that everyone will have that same experience!! I did see people being turned away because their 'time slot' had expired several hours previously!! It can happen!! I'm not saying that every single CM is going to turn you away if you show up an hour after your FP 'expires' but it can, and does, happen.

Are you sure it wasn't that they were too early? There are a ton of people that do this every time we go. They block the entry to the ride and the CM is trying to tell them they can't go in.

And when was this? We were there for 17 days last Nov/Dec and 12 days this past August and there were 5 of us.....it never happened to us.

A person who knows a lot more than I do suggested this and they were right. But do as you want..........I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. Just telling what worked for us.

We tried this in April, only 3 of us, all ok for some rides, but got turned away at Test Track and TT

We kind of tried to argue it, but the 2 CMs that said no ( on different days) wouldnt budge, and to be honest we knew they were right, so left it !

Wow, I'm shocked - in all our times at WDW, we've not only never been turned away with a past time FP (and we go at really busy times, like NYE), but we've never seen it happen, either.

Frankly, I'd be pissed if it DID happen. Look, if something is OK 99% of the time, even if they CAN enforce the rule, I think it's pretty arbitrary and rude to randomly enforce it. JMHO, but I'd put up a stink if the 75th time I used a FP after the time posted, some CM decides to randomly enforce the rule.

Again, just my opinion, but it's mine, and I'm sticking to it .

I agree. I've heard if the CM is new, they might not know and to politely ask for them to check it out with another CM.
