I day for both parks is a little tricky but here it goes. We are going Feb. 28,2011 with my 2 daughters 7 and 9. Big HP fans. Oldest daughter very tiny for her age 46inches.
-will be there when gates open
-WWoHP first thing :will go through the castle to forbidden journey but I will bw the only one riding it. I hope this can be done?
-explore the shops -buy a wand
-flight of the hippogriff
-Jurassic parc area
-The amazing adventure of spiderman
off to universal
-Jimmy neutron
-shrek
-Jaws
-disaster
-simpsons
-men in black
-E.T.
-terminator
If time permits we may return to IOA to explore Suess-Landing
Is this realistic? If not what do I skip?

That should be possible, though it kind of depends on what you do at Jurassic Park. The longest line I had for anything when I went last September (though I went over 2 days) was 50 minutes for the Hulk coaster. The Forbidden Journey wait was for about 45 minutes. One doesn't have to ride the ride to walk through the castle. You can opt out at the end, in fact the Sorting Hat explains how to do it, if I remember correctly.

If you want to go into Olivanders you get your wand, then you can be waiting awhile. Two hours or more, from what I heard, wasn't crazy enough to try it. And only a couple of people get chosen to have the wands "chose" them. The have a wand wagon where you can buy wands nearby.

If you want butterbeer and the lines at the butterbeer wagon is too long, try going inside Hogshead, you can get some there and the wait can be minimal.

edit: If you can afford it, buy an Express Pass, though you can't use it on any of the Harry Potter rides.

This plan is doable IF the lines at WWoHP aren't too long and you get through that area quickly. Otherwise it's going to throw your plans way off and you would have to cut your list back quite a bit. I think what you should do for Plan B is to decide which attractions at both parks you really want to do so if the lines are too long at WWoHP, you have something to fall back on.

I would recommend (just my opinion) skipping disaster and riding the Jurassic Park River Adventure also at IOA in the JP area of course. :lmao: Terminator is cool, but skipable.

Priority as to what I would do, (just going off my favorites would be similar to what you have done but this)

1) HP area and the rides.

2) JP area and the main JP ride River Adventure

3) Book it through Toon Lagoon to Marvel and do Spiderman ( a must do, not to be skipped at any cost)

4) Book it back on over to Suess Landing for just a little smelling of the roses so to speak, when you come out of Marvel, you'll be at the end of the Point of Entry area, Suess is just back on over as you came in (its all a big circle.) (This is skipable since you'll see it going to HP on your way in, but just a suggestion since Suess is so cool.)

5) Mythos (for Lunch) (This is the best restaurant on the entire property, it is right past Suess Landing which is why I recommended 4 above) also skipable, but Mythos is a must do if at all possible.

6) After lunch head on over to the Studios for this order.

7) Mummy (a must do)

8) Simpsons

9) Jaws

10) MIB

11) ET

I think it really depends on the crowds. We were there last weekend, and I saw a lot of 45+ min waits for rides like Hippogriff. The FJ line stretched over the bridge into Jurassic Park, and I'm guessing it was close to 1 or 1 1/2 hours, but it is a fast loading ride and the line is constantly moving.

So neither of your DDs will ride FJ? Will there be another adult there? They might let them go through the line to see the castle and then wait in the child swap room. When you get almost to the end of the line, they measure kids again and then people with kids too small to ride go into a different line - I'm guessing that at that point they can go into the room to wait for you, but I don't know how it would work without another adult. :confused3

I guess my advice would be to prioritize what you want to see and hope for low crowds. Have you considered getting Express Passes? We stayed onsite to get them and it made a HUGE difference in wait times. Rides that had 30-45 min waits we were able to literally walk right on. Just a thought :)
