Has anybody here seen this pin before, and do you know whether it's legit or counterfeit?

Sorry it's not a great picture, but hopefully you can get the gist of it? On the back, it says "limited edition 250" in all capitals, but it does not have the Disney copyright, leading me to think it's probably a fake.

What is she dressed in? Is it a Kimono?
Yes, she's in a kimono. The eBay seller I'd purchased it from said that it was from Tokyo Disneyland. The quality of the pin suggests that it's genuine, but the lack of a Disney copyright makes me suspicious.

I can't find it in pinpics, can't find references to it anywhere online. I figure there's some chance that it's very old, before pin trading was big, but even then wouldn't Disney have been putting the copyright on everything?

I looked on pinpics and cant see it anywhere. The lack of copywrite would lead me to think it is a fake. That said it is a lovely pin and if I collected tink I would probably be inclined to buy it anyway.

I love the photo in front of the Paris castle. What time was it taken to be sooo quiet.

I do like the pin; I bought it a while back, and wear it from time to time. So I don't regret buying it even if it's fake, as I suspect.

Thanks. That picture was taken early in the morning, on our way to the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast. It was amazing to be there with so few people! And even better than the photo op, was getting on Dumbo with absolutely no line. :woohoo:

I have been collecting Tinker Bell Pins for a long time and used to take care of the Tinker Bell Pin Group on Pin Pics along with Karinmac. Karin is in charge of that Pin Group now.

If it does not have the ©Disney on the back it most likely is bootleg.

Disney never featured Tinker Bell in anything but her Peter Pan green pixie dress until 2003 when Disney Auctions Released a series of six Tinker Bell Halloween Pins where she was dressed as a witch, a devil, a cat, a pirate, a vampire and a cowgirl. Also that year the Disney catolog released a Tinker Bell witch pin.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! That's all good to know.
