So DD and I are sitting there Christmas morn, we hear a cell go off. DD checks to see if it is DH's. We often check it for him, and no he doesn't care since he isn't big into text and such, we usually have to assist him with sending and viewing them. Well, there was a new text from his friend, a co worker. We are both looking at it, it says "Thank you J! I've never seen these kids sooooo excited. hahaha" we are like 
then another comes, it is a video... here is what we saw:

so we are like, what the heck did he do???? Well he walks in and we show it to him. He was smiling and said wow thats so awesome. I am like, what was it? what did you get them? He said Sony Playstation 3. He said, their father has been out of work for a year and a half, hurt himself and has been getting surgeries and such. He only gets a minimal amount of pay.They are broke and he just wanted to get the kids something "cool" for Xmas. My hubby does very little shopping ever. He just is a saver and doesn't spend money unless he really wants or needs something, and he saves up for it. Now mind you, he never mentioned any of this to me, I do the money in the house, he could of asked for the money out of "our" money. I spend so much all the time, him asking for this amount would be nothing to what I spend shopping all the time. But he didnt, he used his own "stash" to do this. He only gets a small amount into his own lil "play" account, but he saves and saves... I spend and spend. He just is sooo thoughtful! He really loves helping others and I am just sooooo thrilled that my guy, made two lil boys so happy this Christmas morning! And obviously, so happy for those kids!! He spoke with the parents later and the wife cried, she was so relieved that her kids had gotten something they were crazy over. They had no money to shop for them and she was so sad about it. He really made their Christmas special.
