Is this legit? How to tell? Asking to contribute to Kerry campaign?

We received this in the mail about the Kerry campaign. Is says it is from the
Democratic National Committee
430 South Capitol St, SE
Washington, DC 20003

DH says he wants to send them some money. I said hold on, maybe this is a "scam". Who knows these days???

Anyone know how to tell?

I always ask them to mail me some information before I will contribute. Sometimes I ask for their phone number so I can call back later with a donation.

I'm not sure if that's the correct address, but you could always go to Kerry's official website, johnkerry.com and make your donation there.
