Is this happening to anyone else? It's driving me batty!

For the past week, anytime I go on the DIS on my PC I have to re-enter my log in info. This could be when starting the PC up for the first time or when opening it up after it being in standby mode. I have no issues using it on my iPhone; it's always logged in there. Anyone else having the same issue?

No problem here. Did you click on "remember me" when you last signed in?

You may have to go to "internet options" and check "save passwords". That fixed it for me.

Of course I checked "remember me." lol Duh! It's still doing it though! It's been since the recent update.

It's always happened to me when I used Firefox, even checking "remember me" and making sure cookies were enabled for disboards.com. Recently, it's also started happening on IE, too.

It also times out on me. I'll be surfing along, and suddenly I'm not logged in any more.

I've been blaming my firewall, but hearing that other people are having issues, maybe it's something else?

That happens on my work computer...all of a sudden it won't remember me and I always get that "If this is your first time..." message. My home computer seems fine. I don't post that much though, so not a big deal for a lurker

If you delete your cookies, it should remember you the next time you log in.

It keeps happening to me too! And then it wouldn't recognize me at all. I typed my login the right way, put in password, and still couldn't get in. No idea what was happening. Glad it wasn't just me

It's not my computer. Mary Jo, a mod from another part of the DIS, posted that it's been reported to WebmasterAlex and they're working on it. It's even happening to him. I just found the post.

Happening to me too... Only on my desktop not ipod... I tried all the things people mentioned on the thread and still nothing... No problems saving pw on other websites just the dis

I'm staying logged in, but it isn't always remember what I've read for threads. If I click on a link in an email that should take me to the newest post I haven't read yet, it often takes me back to early this morning.

I'm not sure how vbulletin tracks that, but I don't think its a cookie problem at all.

And I've probably been using web browsers longer than anybody here...aw, crap, now I remember how old I am...

You could always Toss your Cookies.

Interestingly, it happens when I use my desktop computer but not when I use my notebook computer.
