i have been looking on expedia tonight looking for a good deal ,for from £500 there are hotel packages flying with virgin ,i was looking at staying at either the orlando vista hotel ot comfort inn lbv they were nearer the £600 mark, these prices are much better then i have been quoted so i am wondering whether to book or hold out for a last minute deal, the dates are from 26th july to 9th august ,

Hi,
Have just looked at Expedia, and the cheapest I can find for those dates are £800+! If you've seen a deal for £600 in high season, flying with Virgin...... book it!
My DD and her BF are going on their own for the first time, and as she is a student, can go slightly out of season. They are going 10th Sept for 10 days, and have paid £600 (inc plat ins for the car).
IMHO it is better to keep some dates in mind, and keep looking (a good 12 months before), and if you see a deal....go for it!
Hope this helps
Tracy

Never looked at Expedia flights and hotel before, for us it would be worth booking the cheapest hotel £504 each then just using the flights, we have paid £533 for the flights and had to use 2000 airmiles each to get them down to this price for August.

comfort inn lbv QUOTE]

Just a word of caution Comfort Inn LBV is situated right next to the I4 which is an 8 lane, non stop, 24 hour traffic motorway. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself or staff. We stayed there and were given a room facing onto the I4. It was extremely noisy all night with horns going. So depending on what type of sleeper you are I would be a bit caution about booking this hotel. A good site to check up on hotels is tripadvisor.com but be aware that Americans tend to be more on the critical side than us Brits.

If you want a quiet room at Comfort Inn just ask for a parking lot side room preferably a high floor, you get much less noise from I-4 (it really is much more pleasant on that side) you don't get the noise from the pools either and less foot traffic past your room. I think we had room number 1435 which is building 1 floor 4 room 35 nice location close to the lift but not bothered by other guests arriving or leaving the hotel and a short walk to the restaurant.

Hi Leann
We are going those exact dates.
I noticed that the royal plaza in LBV was coming out at £1467.That is a really good price for a fantastic hotel. If you can afford the extra .They have given nearly £1000 discount on this booking. Also Disney's all stars is around the same. They have some grat deals on here when you look through them.I would book now.Its not so much the hotel its the flight you have to think about.Good luck with your search:thumbsup2

I've just looked at our dates for our friends it's £1800.00 cheaper than booking seperately.....a fantastic deal. BA were nearly £1000.00 more expensive!!!..
