I had just noticed that Disney had extended the PH rates at the DLR. Was checking to see how high they would be. For 6/8-6/10 it says that the DLH is $3,667 per night. Then looking at some different dates, they had PP for 6/2-6/4 for $1,838 per night. This is with the PH Spring Hotel offer. Is this for real or some computer glitch? OOPs, those dates were for the DLH,too. But I did see some dates where the PPH was over a thousand dollars and the DGH for over three thousand.

Yea that's weird, I would call. i got the same rate. When I clicked on it, it said there were no rooms available.

Try checking your dates on Getawaytoday.com or cheaptickets.com. I often get better rates there when the hotels are booked.

I've seen that too. I just assumed it meant the regular rooms were booked out & all that was left were the suites because they do run those prices. Admittedly I was very surprised the hotels were practically booked out the week after Memorial but when I saw similar availability on Orbitz I started mentally gearing up for some healthy crowds... But it'll be worth it! Also, computer glitches with their reservation system are not unheard of so I also vote for calling Disney.

Thanks everybody! I must admit that I didn't even bother to click on it when I saw those rates. Those prices for the suites still seem awfully high! Yes, I think we are in for some really big crowds with the Diamond celebration going on. Guess I will try to find a more reasonable place to stay or just change dates.

Check out cheaptickets.com. They have the Grand for $424 and DLH for $495.

When I showed my husband those prices ( and he picked himself up off of the floor) he mentioned how you can do a Disney cruise in concierge for waaaay less then that a night and everything is included!! LOL!

We just got home, and when I was trying to make our reservations using the Disney site it was a disaster. Every time checked, got a different price. Sometimes it said no rooms available. I phoned the next morning and got a great rate at PPH using the Annual Passholder special.
