Is this even really a deal?

I got an email from WDW with a PIN code today, but it doesn't seem to be a deal to me...

It's a Great Price and Fall is a Great Time
for a Walt Disney World Vacation

What a great time to be a part of the Walt Disney World® magic. Enjoy great events taking place at various times this Fall like the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival or the Yuletide splendor of Magical Holidays.

This Magic Your Way Package includes:

6 nights at select Disney Value Resorts
You’ll enjoy great resort benefits like Extra Magic Hours–each day one of the Theme Parks is open extra time to enjoy select attractions (valid Theme Park admission and Resort ID required).

7-day Theme Park admission
This ticket gives you admission to one of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks per day. Tickets are nontransferable and must be used within 14 days of first use.

Room + Tickets
6 nights/7 days less than $1350 for a family of four.

For an email with a PIN code, it doesn't seem that great to me! I was hoping to get the free dining deal for our December trip, but it doesn't seem worth changing our ressies for this deal... any opinions?

Hi there, this interested me as I didn't think it was that great of a deal either. I went to Disneyworld.com to price out vacation separated. The total cost on the website is $1470.00. So it is saving you about $100.00, but I can guarantee you can get better with AAA or AP discount. If you don't have either of those, the savings is decent. Keep an eye out for when (if) they offer the free dining again it is a great deal IMHO.. :wave2: good luck!!

Nope, it's not.
Six nights Pop Century, 11.5% tax = $515.13
Three adult 7-day expiring non-hopper passes (what the offer is giving you) at $211.94 each plus one child's pass (ages 3 - 9) at $170.40 = $806.22

Total = $1,321.35
If both children are 3 - 9, total drops to $1,279.81

Six nights any All Star, $13% tax = $522.06
Three adult 7-day expiring non-hopper passes (what the offer is giving you) at $211.94 each plus one child's pass (ages 3 - 9) at $170.40 = $806.22

Total $1,328.28
If both children are 3 - 9, total drops to $1,286.74

Thanks for comfirming what I thought... We are only a family of 2 adults and 1 5YO, and our trip for 10 days (with AAA and Mousesavers newsletter ticket discount) is only costing me $1283 for 10 days.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for free dining, but I'm not holding my breath!

Did you already book your 10 days? I just booked my trip for Nov and was wondering if free dining is offered will I be able to apply it to my reservation?

Thanks!

kwdreams:

I have already booked our room and bought our tickets, but if they do offer the free dining, I'll apply that to our ressie for sure. I've discussed it with my DH and even though we've already got tickets, we can save those till next year.

You should be able to add on any extras you want before your trip as they become available.
