We will be checking into POR 180 days from tomorrow, but I do not need our first AR until 182 days from now. Can I call because I am 180 days from check in and make 10 days worth of AR's or will they say I need to call back in two days?

Here is the ethical part of the question: If they tell me I need to call back in two days can I just make a random AR for the day we are checking in so I can make the ones for later in the week and then cancel it closer to our trip?

I believe that the policy is 180 days from check-in for up to 10 days of reservations.

So it would not be breaking any rules then.

Oh good! I hope you are right. We are only making four reservations and one activity for the kids, but I would like to be able to take care of it tomorrow.

I booked on the first day of 90+ 10. And very early in the morning. So this MAY have been a system limitation, or it may have been an assumption of a system limitation on the park of the CM.

I wanted PSB about three days into our trip. Because I know princess meals book fast, I tried to book that first. I had to book the first ADR for the first night to "get into the system" then I could book any reservation I wanted.

I don't think you'll have problems finding your dining times no matter what you do - most people don't book at 180 days out.

You should be able to make your seatings for everything at your 180 days out.

Ok, I have NOT been able to do this. I have been calling all week. They have not let me make one reservation before the 180 day mark of EACH reservation I am trying to make. I keep trying though...I will try again tomorrow to make the rest of my reservations at once, but I have had to keep calling back as each day hits the 180 mark for each day we are at the parks. Anyone else have this happen? :confused3

I was able to call last sunday and made all of our ar's.

If you are staying onsite, this should not be happening. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you are supposed to be able to call 180 days before your arrival and make ADR's for 10 days. If you are staying offsite, then you do have to call at the 180 day mark for each and every reservation.

I am staying at the Carribean Beach June 30- July 9th, 4 night Wonder Cruise, then 3 nights at the Polynesian. Maybe since I am only staying 3 nights at the Polynesian they won't let me make any reservations. They told me to call back each day in the next few days to make my reservations. Since I am staying in the concierge wing, maybe if I call Poly directly? I am trying to get Kona, Ohana and 1900 Park Fare.

It's not because you are staying only 3 nights at the Polynesian. The Caribbean Beach and Polynesian would be 2 separate reservations. Have you hit 180 days for the Polynesian reservation yet?

Today I was able to make the reservations for the final 3 days I am at the Polynesian. The confusion was caused by a dining reservationist I had spoke to on Thursday. He had explained that I would have to call once a day for the next several days to place each reservation explaining that each day out would be the 180th day for each place. I read this very informative board and spoke to a rep yesterday (which WAS 180 days until our check in) and she made all of our reservations for the next few days.

I am happy now! Thank you for all of your help in clearing this all up! :sunny:
