actually, has anyone ever taken cokes in the luggage for the cruise? we will be flying in.

Yes, we have, and many others do too.

(Actually, we stayed in MCO the night before and purchased them at a gas station, then packed them in the luggage.)

This year, however, we're staying at MCO airport and will have to pack them in our luggage from DFW. DH is wrapping his beer, and Dr. Peppers in several towels on the rare chance that they will leak.

So, yes, bringing your own drinks is permitted, just take extra precautions in case they leak.
