Going to Magic Kingdom on Dec. 2. We have Ohanna's reservations at 5:40 that evening. Parade is at 8 Wishes at 9. Park open til 11. Can we eat and get back into the park for the parade and wishes on time? WWYD There is only 2 of us.

Should be. The Poly is on the monorail, so it only takes about 15-20 minutes to get from there to the MK.

I would say it is cutting it close if you want to be in spot for the parade at 8 pm. On average, most table service meals at WDW take about two hours. Ohana is extremely popular and you might find yourself there for exactly that amount of time or longer if they make you wait to be seated. If I were you, I would either change the reservation to another location and better time or bump it to earlier in the evening.

It's do-able if you get seated on time and don't have to wait long for a monorail. You never know with O'Hana though, even with the ADR especially at that time, you probably are going to have wait a little for your table. Only time I've ever been seated on time at O'Hana was when my ADR was pretty much right when they opened.

I called and nothing available any earlier, which I figured would be the problem. I thing our strategy is going to get there early and see what happens. We will be at the Christmas party the next night, so can catch a few rides that night if we need to.

This.

Also, it never hurts to arrive early by 30 to 45 minutes. I usually (not this year) am at MK this week and it's a great time because the crowds tend to be low. That said, we always arrive early and we seem to be seated a full half hour ahead of our res, even at O'hana.

You'd be surprised at how many run late and it pays to be early.

Thanks, that is what I am hoping for. I figure if we leave right after the 3 o'clock parade, check in as soon as we can, we may be okay. We can always look around the Poly while we are waiting.

Poly by smell alone is worth hanging out in for an hour or so. Plus, the big Pineapple drink is a must while hanging out.
