While at WDW in 1/03 DH made ressies with the come back discount for 10/03. DD and I wanted to go somewhere different this year but DH said we can always cancel. Then the FTP came out and DH arrange that (I found out he hadn't cancelled the welcome back). Well...I really want to do something different so I thought about cancelling FTP (we have to cancel something) and add our first two nites at Universal at PBH. With the 40% AKL for the welcome back and the great rates at Universal it would be about $200 more. DH, a disney purist, is willing to do it but I can tell he rather not. What does everyone think??

You should do it. It'll be something different and you'll end up having a good time.

Is the $200 difference including tickets to Universal? If so, I would consider it.
Although I don't like Universal,(and have vowed never to go back), that is just my experience. Many people have tried it and love it. I just happened to have 2 bad experiences, and have decided my money is better spent somewhere else (Disney )!
If you like thrill rides, I am sure you will love IOA. And I hear that their hotels are wonderful.
