Is this crazy to try?

I really want to do the Chef's table at Victoria and Albert's after my Disney wedding. I think my chances are pretty slim for finding availability since we'll only be onsite for 5 days and really only 2 of them would work for the dinner. We have dinner reservations at V&A the day before my 180 day window opens. Would it be totally crazy to ask the restaurant about this reservation? Would they be able to do anything if they did see an avail? I wonder if anyone has tried to do this before.

I agree with poster above that it can never hurt to ask! As you know it's incredibly popular so may already be booked by guests using their 180+10 advantage but you never know. The person(s) managing reservations may not be there during dinner service but perhaps someone could help you leave a message (although I'd still plan to call first thing in the morning as well). Good luck!!

call the restaurant right at 9 am and ask. It can't hurt. Definitely mention that it's your wedding. You might get pixie dusted!
