Is this Crazy at HRH

We had our flights changed and now we will be staying at HRH for 4 nights instead of 3 until we check into THV. But, it is cheaper to book 5 nights instead of 4. So, I booked 5 nights and thought then we won't be homeless for 6 hours or so until we can get into the THV plus if the kids really like the Parks there we can go back to use the FOTL passes the last day. What I wonder is should I check out when we leave at 5 p.m. or so when we go over to the THV or wait until the next morning. Do you have to actually check out or can you just leave if using a credit card?
