I had a transfer of points from a member 'into' my account.
I might need a few more to complete a reservation.

MS told me that I cannot accept anymore transfer transactions into my account.

I thought I could accept 'in' but cannot transfers 'out'?

So if MS is correct, I can only accept one transfer in per UY?

Yes, MS is correct. You can have 1 transfer per year total, either one in or one out, but not both.

When DVC began in 1991, the policy was one transfer - in either direction - per Use Year.

In 2003, the policy was relaxed to allow multiple transfers - also in only one direction - per Use Year.

In 2006, the policy was changed back to it's original status where members are allowed one transfer - either into or out of an account - per Use Year.

Because the limit is 1 transfer per UY, the OP may still have some ability to receive the needed transfer IF the first transfer was into the 07UY and the trip is in the 08 UY. For example, if she received a transfer into her 07 UY, this can probably be banked for, say a Dec 08 reservation. Under these circumstances, she could receive a 2nd transfer into her 08 UY, which would then be avialble for any 08 UY reservations. Of course, this won't help if the OP is traveling in the 07UY. -- Suzanne
