Is This Considered a Double Booking?

I have a lunch ressie at Chef Mickey's for 9/29 at 2:40pm. I have a dinner ressie at Cape May Cafe at 7:40pm that evening. We won't be doing both, but we haven't decided which one we're keeping yet? Will Disney see this 5 hour difference as a double booking and cancel both? We should know by tonight which one we're keeping. Thanks.

No, you're ok. Those are different meals .. lunch and dinner. It would be a double booking if both were for the same meal.

Disney is just going to think you're very hungry people. :goodvibes:

Well, we may be hungry but not THAT hungry!!! LOL!!! Actually, DH and I want to try Cape May and my DS has been begging to go to Chef Mickey's since July. So this one is a tough call. I'm tempted to wait to get there and decide based on what time we arrive in WDW, what and when we get breakfast and to see if the kids fall asleep at 2:00pm! But I also want to be fair to others that may be trying to book last minute ressies. I think we have to decide tonight...what do you think?

It would be nice of you to make your decision tonight, but there are also those people who don't know that they need to make reservations in advance who would love it if you cancel that day. I would try my hardist to make the decision today and do the cancellation, but if you really can't make up your mind, you could, in all fairness to you cancel the day of your reservation....but please if you are going to wait until then, make sure you cancel the night before. It gives others the opportunity to pick up that time slot.

And...IMO, I would go to Chef Mickey's....how old is your son? how long before he doesn't want to do character meals? If that's where he wants to go, why not give into him and go...you can always check out Cape May another trip!

Yup, this is my thought as well! I'll be calling in the morning to cancel Cape May. Besides, doing CM's will be perfect on our arrival day. After we eat, we'll hop the monorail to the GF and get into our room (I hope - it will be way after 3pm) then we can go back out to Epcot that night since it's open until midnight. We can just snack around the world from the F&WF then when we're ready head on back "home" to our resort.

Good plan, if I do say so myself. ;)

I wouldnt think it's double booking we have char breakfasts on some days along with a lunch on one day at primetime, and then dinner at like le celliar, then another we have sci-lunch and then later the fantasmic package. I think a lot of it is based on we really want to try all the neat places. Thos are the only 2 lunchs we have booked the rest will be CS, and mainly ressies for breakfast and dinner on the same day.
