Is this common?

I have found the same house in Emerald Island on a few different rental companies websites. vrbo and homeaway that I can think of right of the top of my head. Is that common practice? And then which one is better to rent from? SO confused!!!...to many choices!!!

This is very typical. Home Away owns both VRBO and Home Away. These are the two major websites, and most that are on one, will advertise on the other as well. It really doesn't matter which one you rent from....most owners have their own website as well, so when you e-mail you can ask if they have their own website and what the web address is. Lots of time there is more information on their own website. Either of these advertising sites are very reputable. In fact, if you see an owner advertising on both, you know they spend lots on advertisement, as it is not cheap to advertise on either of these sites, so probably good financially. Enjoy the process!

As Sandy said both are good. You may also see the same house pop up on some of the uk sites. ownersdirect.co.uk or cyberrentals or greatrentals or vacationrentals etc are all Homeaway owned.

I like them both. We usually stay in pool homes and don't use the community facilities much if at all but they are nicer at WH. Emerald Island has more landscaping and greenery. Both have a manned gate and are both very close to 192 and Disney. EI might be one - two minutes further out.
