First off, I'm not sure I'm posting this on the right thread, if not sorry.
Now, we (my family & a friend) are going to WDW on June 24. June 19th is DH 44th bday. I was wondering is it possible to do all the fun birthday stuff (ex. birthday button etc.) if it's not his exact bday. I know it's not AS exciting, but he really is just a big kid. I tried to plan it so that we would be there for his exact bday, but do to school schedule it wasn't possible. Their last day is the 24th. We're sending them for an hour (only because they are soooo dissappointed at the possibility of missing the last day).
I feel like I'd be cheating. I'm not looking for freebees or anything, but I also don't want DH to be embarrassed(sp?) if he has to refuse something because it isn't really his bday.
So, what do you all think? Should I plan to make our first night His bday? Oh, BTW, we have late dinner ressies at Hoop de doo.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that. If your uncomfortable, just say you are celebrating his birthday :) Have a good time!

Deesknee,

I don't think it's cheating and I don't think that anyone at WDW would stop you or your family from having a magical day. BTW, I think that making reservations at the HOOP DEE DO was a great idea. I really enjoy the show and make it a point to go everytime I'm out there. Have fun. :Pinkbounc

Don't worry...people do it all the time especially if it is when a few days of the trip...Heck I celebrated my 40th and I wore the Bday but for an entire week....

I am not sure about how others do it but we very rarely celebrate a birthday on the actual day. It is always the weekend before or after. So why should it be any different at WDW?

We celebrated birthdays at Disneyland up to a month early because it was the only time we could get there.

Relax! It happens all the time! My daughter had to wear her button to all four parks over the 6 days we were there. We just explained to her that it was her birthday the entire time were at Disney. When someone said "Happy Birthday" she just said thanks. No need to explain.

Have a great time

Thank you all soooo much. :flower: I know my humble 6' 250 (or so) child (atleast at heart) will love the attention. And if by chance he doesn't, then I will enjoy embarrasing him! :rotfl2:
