I booked my disney package today and was not comfortable with the CM I got, she didn't really seem to have it going on. So when I was done I asked if I could book the hoop de doo. She said it was now only booked 180 days out. That didn't seem right to me so I just went to Allears and they say that reservations are being accepted for dates up to Jan 07 and that dates after that are only being booked 180 days out. Well our trip is in 11/12 of 06 so according to that I should be able to book it now. Who is right? Please help soon it will be for my dhs birthday and I want to book while I can still get a good time.

allearsnet says as of Jan 2006 you can book through 12/31/06 but as of 1/1/07 you can only book 180 days out

Have you called disney dining and found out? Since it used to be 2 years out, I would call them - they will know wont they???

curious!! Hope for an update!

Ummm, i just made all of my own ADR's and we talked about not knowing what we were having for dinner tonite, but I knew exactly what we were having in 6 months... the CM laughed and said that wasn't bad, there are alot of people that make their dinner show ressies 2 years in advance.

Take it as you will, but i think it is still 2 years for dinner shows. Call and make sure, you may have gotten a misinformed CM, or it really has changed.

You can book HDD up to 12/31/2006 right now. As of 1/1/07, it is 180 days in advance.

Call back and talk to another CM. Make them check the computer, not just tell you it's 180 days.

Of course, everything at Disney is subject to change, but unless it changed today, it's still bookable up to the end of this year.

HDD is also now a pay ahead of time ADR. Just found that out a couple weeks ago from Disney Dinning. :( I think that stinks.

HDD has been a pay ahead of time ressie for a while. You're really buying show tickets that include dinner. I've never bought show tickets anywhere that you didn't pay for until after the show. I know coming up with the money ahead of time is hard. Are you getting a tax return? Maybe you could buy your tickets with that money?

As others have said, the policy changed. No more 2 years.

Wow...that is nice to know for future ref. I loved that they changed reg. ADRs to 180 instead of 90... at least this way keeps the count easy...

update for those interested- I called back today to disney dining and got a different cast member. She booked me fore Dec 1st at the 2nd show no problem. Glad I didn't listen to the first lady or I might have ended up having to do the 3rd show like we did last time. With a not even one year old that probably would not have worked out and dh really wants to do this for his birthday. :cool1:
