I have a Dec UY. I need to make a reservation today for next April at my home resort. If I use my Dec 09 points for a April 2010 vacation is that borrowing?? Also, I'm 2 days past my 11 month window for the first day of next April's trip. Do I have to book the 2 days then call daily to add days until the week is booked ? I thought I read that they are now allowing us to book the whole reservation as long as the first day is within the 11 months. Thanks for any help :)

If you have enough points in your Dec 09 UY, you will be using 2009 UY points. Your Dec 09 UY points are valid for stays Dec 1 2009- Nov 30th 2010.

You can book up to 11 months + 7 nights from check in, so you should be able to complete your ressie today.

No. You would be using current use year points.

Your December 2009 use year is for trips between 12/1/2009 and 11/30/2010. An April 2010 vacation falls within your 2009 use year.

You may book up to 7 nights with one call. You may call 11 months prior to your check in date.

For example, let's say you want to vacation from 4/17/2010 - 4/25/2010 (8 nights).

On May 17, 2009 you may call and book the nights of 4/17/10 -4/23/10 (check out would be 4/24/10). Then on 5/18/09, you may call to add the night of 4/24/10 to complete your 8 night trip.

If your stay was longer than 8 nights, you would continue to call daily to add on nights until your trip was complete. But you do not have to call daily. You could just wait a few days until the booking window covered all of your days and make just one call. Up to you.

Thank you. I was just a little confused..Been trying my hardest to stay off the DIS since I'm attemptimg to actually go a full year between trips this year...:rolleyes1 Seems like everytime I start trolling around here, the urge to book a long weekend strikes!
