Looking for a rental Sept 19-28 (10 rental days). I found alamo for $270 (total including tax). This extra couple days really through you over. Is this the best I'll be able to do?

They are having book ahead specials, not sure if it will help, but, take a peak. What are you using for codes? Do you have Sam's club, bj's or costco? They have some pretty decent rates with those, including a free day coupon with BJ's. There are discounts out there, you really have to be persistant, however.
