We will be staying at the AKV in Jan. We will be staying one night in one room type than moving the next day to a new room type with a different reservation number. We will be on the reg. DDP when we move into the new room type but due to using some credits for some signature dining. We will not have any TS for the first day. Is it allowable to purchase the deluxe DDP for the one night stay? Can you use the credits up until midnight on the day we change room types? Also does it cost $69.99 Adult and 19.99 for a child?

Thanks

I don't know if they sell if for one day but remember it will mean you will also have to buy tickets for that package which would add a lot of expense. I would just pay OOP.

As the PP noted, you'll have to add an additional 1 day base ticket for that one night reservation if you want any form of the DDP.

So.. per adult if the pricing is right.. you'd be looking at around 145$ for the base ticket + dining. Might be better off to just buy the dinner?

I already have tickets for the whole trip. I will be staying at DVC the whole trip but in different room types with different reservations.

Oooh.. you're staying DVC.

Well.. different answer applies:

Then you'll need to call Member Services to see if you can add that one night of premium DDP. That's the only way.

And, yes, the DDP credits would be good up until midnight of your departure day! (in this case, room change day!) :)

We have 2 reservations this week at VWL, one for 3 nights, one for 1 night. I added the DDP to the 3 night stay. MS did offer to add it for the last night, as well. So, I am pretty sure you can add it for just one night. I declined. I would assume this would mean the reservations were completely separate, so you should be able to do either the basic or deluxe plan for that 1 night. And, as someone posted previously, the credits should be good until midnight on the day of "check-out" or in your case, room change. :goodvibes

As long as you are booked through DVC on member points you should not have any problems with the scenario you suggested. If you did not book through DVC on member points then you will need to get the additional tickets as another poster has pointed out.

And yes, the dining plan credits are good from the moment you check in until 23:59 on the day you check out for that reservation.
