Sounds like a scam. It doesn't use your name and it asks you to click on a link. Two big tells of a scam. Forward the email to ebay.

Definitely a scam. Forward it to the appropriate box for phishing emails.

If you can figure out how to do it with your email program it is helpful if you expand the header. It contains a lot of tracking info which can be used by spoof@ebay.com.

It is a scam, all ebay email should start with Dear(Insert your ebay name here), Forward it to, spoof@ebay.com Even if it does have your name and looks supsicious, send it anyway, they will tell you if Ebay sent it or not.

Hope this helps.

As a matter of habit it's a good idea to ONLY respond through your ebay account. All legitimate messages show up there. Even clicking on a link in a spoof email can get spyware on your machine or open a virus.

It's a phish email that has been around for years now. The funny thing is I get this exact same email in email accounts that have absolutely no link to my Ebay account.
