Hello, I am new to the forum. I was planning on going to WDW on Feb 28 - March 4th. Am I missing the spring break craz? It looks like most colleges have spring break during the week of the 5th-10th. Any advice would be greatly apprecaited. I am looking to avoid big crowds. thank you! :cool1:

looks like it might be a good time. Mardi Gras is Feb 20 and Pres week is Feb 19-23..which can both increase crowds. have fun!!!

Touringplans dot com indicates those dates are 5 to 7 on the crowd scale of 1 -10 (though truth is there are no days listed lower than 4 all year, which tells you there are never NO crowds). It also shows that is ESPN the Weekend at Disney-MGM. see link here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/recreation/ESPNWEEKEND.htm

Overall, that should be a fine week to be there.

I think you'll be just missing the spring break crowds since you'll be there late February/early March. You should be fine.

And it was really great! The President's Week crowds are gone and your just sneaking in before all the Spring Breakers. I would definitley do it again that week!

Now I know that I have selected a good time to hit WDW. Thank you. Any suggestions on what days I should go to what parks? I am going March 1- 5th (Thursday-Monday). Monday is travel home day so I have a hopper pass for Thurs-Sunday.
thanks!

You could go to touring plans dot com and check out the crowd calendar section for one suggestion.

If you really want an opinion on what parks when, it would help to know the age and interest of members of the group. Just adults, older adults, kids of various ages all change the plan. If you have little kids, are they early to bed / sleep in late, for that matter are you? Do they need a nap in the daytime? Also, are you staying on-site (decides whether to avoid or to use EMH)? Do you have a park-hopper ticket?

Not knowing any of that, the easy thing to say is 4 days, 4 parks. Avoid MK on the weekend if possible.
