Anyone been the last of September, first of October?

DS has a short 3 day fall break starting Sept 28.....was thinking of taking advantage of the free dining during this time.

Anybody been this time of year? Weather? Crowds?

Also, do you find that the EMH evening hours are worth it? We have never stayed on property so this would be new to us. After the last parade or fireworks do they just have everyone else leave except those staying for EMH? Any input is greatly appreciated.

EMH hours and their advantages are totally dependent upon how crowded the WDW is at the time you are there.

We have utilized EMH hours in the evening during peak and non peak park attendence. During peak times, you're better off avoiding EMH because it's not at all enjoyable. When we were at WDW in late June, the evening EMH was horrible. The morning EMH was better, IMHO. When we utilized EMH during an off peak visit, it was much more enjoyable.

You can usually assess how crowded WDW is by your theme park visits during the day. No matter what, remember that any visit to WDW is better than no visit at all.

The dates are listed as value season. I used to have a link that showed average attendance.....but don't know what happened to it.

Yes, love that time. Went over that time frame in '01. Crowds should be fine and you can go to MK on October 1st and celebrate MK's 34th birthday!

I noticed they were open until 10 that day and wondered why....that is the day I had planned on because it is the latest day they are open during our stay.
