Its been a while since I booked a package deal so I thought I would ask the experts on what they think of the price before I book (package through Virgin Holidays)

2 Adults, 1 Child

Travelling middle of Aug on Virgin back Earley Sep from LGW

12 nights at POFQ
14 day Ultimate Ticket
Dining Plan
Intermediate Car Hire with Platinum Insurance

£3654.30

I have already booked RPR and the flight dates incorporate this so its 16 nights in total

Any thoughts?

I don't know what car hire normally costs. But for two weeks we have paid:

£280 for flghts each

£930 for 14 nights king room POFQ.

£422 for 14 day ultimates

(£1630) now obvisouly you'll have to add a child flight (say £300) and ticket (say £200) bet that still only makes it £2130, add DDP £2800 ish.

So if Car rental is £800 for 2 weeks then I think you will be better off booking separately.

i'm going 27th aug staying 15 nights

£630 flights with virgin atlantic
£365 for intermediate 4x4 car hire with usrentacar with plat insurance
£1513 for pofq, 14 days tickets and dining plan

this was when the free dining offer was on last year

For a package with VH i'd say that's about right, we paid 2700 for 2 adults in 2007 (flights, car hire with young driver surcharge, POFQ, free dining) so considering the extra person and the fact that it's summer hols it doesn't seem over the odds.
