Is this a good deal?

I'm sorry to pile on, but I had showed the map to hubby. Hubby lived in Long Beach for awhile, and got to know the area a little bit, and he says he wouldn't stay in that area. Now he has old info, but it's worth thinking about. And since "no one walks" in CA, walking through even a nice neighborhood is going to make you guys stand out big time, which might draw a seedier element to you.

By seedier I think she means Hispanic.

I believe the term is "Nobody walks in LA." There are a lot of walkers in Orange County but they're usually heading for the bus.

The area around Disneyland is an older are with less expensive homes than North or South Orange County but the people there are very nice.

I took a look at the map and know the area very well. The area is a pretty even mix of Hispanic and elderly people. The latter have lived there forever. There are some "rough" areas in Anaheim but that neighborhood isn't one of them.

Renting a house is a great option especially if it's inexpensive. The areas around the park are relatively clean. Don't worry about the residents threatening you. It won't happen.
