Is this a good deal for CB?

I hope some of you who have stayed at Caribbean Beach (or any moderate) can help ease my fears...I may not get any sleep tonight.

DH & I just booked our 1st stay at a moderate..going for 8 nights/9 days in May.

2 ADULTS
11yo DD
7 yo DS

We also got:
Park hoppers
the water park & fun option
the Dining Plan

TOTAL---$3,387.96

Are we overpaying, it is a good deal, average deal?
I just have no idea...having never stayed at a moderate before.

Yes, I know water park & fun was free up until last week, but it's over now, right? We did not book last week because originally we were going to stay as "Guests of a Cast Member" but now we're not doing that.

Looks a little high to me. We've stayed at CBR twice.

If you want to get a better deal. (not sure what your penalties will be) but they are offering right now free dining..

They priced for me 2 adults, CBR, dining, park hopper for 7 days $1,400/2. Children are only $176 each (for the entire vacation including dining & passes)

This is from Mid August until Sept. 30th.

That sounds really high. We are going (2 adults/DD-12 and DD-7 to CBR for 8 days/7 nights in August (regular season) with upgraded park hopper/waterpark tickets and are paying $2229 through AAA. This does not include airfare though. Does yours include airfaire?

No, airfare is not included...we are driving.

We are getting the Dining Plan though...so maybe that is hwere the extra $1000.00 comes in. Are you doing the Dining Plan?

If yours includes dining...then you've really got me rethinking this whole thing.
