Is this a glitch with G+? (Pinned rides only not bookable right at 7 am?)

I am here now and at MK yesterday and today.

I learned all the tips for Genie plus and used them all. I had my priority rides pinned and was on and refreshing before 7 am. I was ready to be lightning fast to try to snag an early return time for a popular ride.

At 7 yesterday, the blue "book experience" popped up for the non-pinned rides but it took probably 10 more refreshes to have the option to click through to see a time for my pinned rides. It was so frustrating.
I ended up with a return time that was after 11 (2 hours after park open). I was hoping for something before that.

I was bummed but figured it was a one-time glitch.

This morning it happened again. I only had 2 rides pinned (JC and HM, but I was going for JC).

At 7, the rides below my pinned rides were available. After about 2 refreshes, HM got the blue "book experience," but I wanted JC more, so I kept refreshing. Nothing. Finally, I tapped the ride name and when the Jungle Cruise page opened, I tapped LL and got a time that way. Unfortunately it was an afternoon time. I really wanted to get ahead of that 2 hour thing, so I went to cancel JC and the option to cancel wasn't there. I tried for several minutes. I don't know what time it showed up (because I stopped trying for a while), but at 7:20 I was finally able to cancel.

Of course, I don't like how times don't show until 7:30. Not a fan of that update I took a chance canceling because I couldn't see what HM time was available, but I ended up with 9:45, which I'm happy with.

We're not rope dropping this morning (which is hard for me because I ALWAYS rope drop) but we rope dropped yesterday and also stayed until 11pm.
Turns out my boys prefer to do WDW differently than I do. It's hard to adapt to this!

I want to get this pinned ride issue figured out before our Epcot and HS days. Has anyone here experienced or heard of this?

Haven't heard of this issue before. How frustrating for you.

Since I don't have tickets for today, I can't pin, but I can do what you did when you tapped on the ride name and then tap on the big LL which then refreshes the Tip Board and takes me right back to the same attraction. So that works almost as well as pinning.

You might try doing it that way and not pinning anything.

I'm wondering how quickly I could grab SDD or Remy doing it that way.

I wonder if I pin so I don't have to scroll, but then tap the name and LL it could be fast enough. And I'm hopingvit would allow me to book right away without going through the process again.

I could see return times between 7:00 am and 7:30 am this morning which came as a surprise (I have no ticket, no reservation, no AP).

Could you try clicking into the pinned ride at 7am? (click the box that normally shows the return window). At 7am when I clicked on that box, for a particular pinned ride, it took me to the next screen which did show the return time.

If the return time was too early, I would hit the X on the top left to back me out, and then keep repeating the process until my desired time showed up (sometimes I was trying for something around 10-11am for instance, not just as early as possible.) That allowed to sleep in some on days we needed it.

I did not experience the same glitch as the past 2 days. Although I did not see times right away. I'm surprised you did.

I still had an issue but it wasn't the app's fault. We were boarding the Skyliner at 6:59. Just really bad luck with timing.

I had just MMRR and ROR pinned. Both were clickable right away. I went for Rise first as soon as I sat down on the skyliner and got 8:35! The final screen just got a spinning circle. I assumed it went through and backed out to grab MMRR real quick.

I had to refresh several times because the time was still in the 8:30-9 range and I didn't want it overlapping with Rise. After several refreshes I got 9:30 for MMRR.

Then I went to My Day to look at both of them and, to my horror (slight exaggeration), I discovered my Rise purchase hadn't gone through. So I went to grab Rise again and ended up with 1:40.

That wouldn't have been a problem, except Rise went down around 12 or 1 and still wasn't back when we were ready to leave the park at 4.

So apparently I have really bad luck at 7 am.

Rise is back up now. I managed to grab a 5:30 Slinky by refreshing, so I think we'll head back just for those 2 rides. Thankfully we're just a short Skyliner ride away.

I promise my 7 am luck will change tomorrow at Epcot.

I honestly don't remember if I tried clicking the box since it was all grayed out and didn't look clickable. I was a flurry of fingers and frustrated mind.

I will try if I find myself in the same situation again.

We went back just to ride Rise and Slinky. Thank goodness for the skyliner!

Rise was great and I'm glad we got to experience it. We enjoyed Smuggler's Run even more. My kids want to ride Rise again next week but I don't know if I want to pay for it again.

Despite my morning snafus, G+ has worked out well for us.

I have my rides pinned for Epcot tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don't mess up again!

Fortunately I was going for Test Track and we're rope dropping Remy.

Right? That's why I made my post but so far no one currently in the parks has chimed in.

Tomorrow we'll be at AK and I'm going for Avatar at 7. It's close enough to the top that I won't pin.

Let's see if mess it up tomorrow.

G+ is working flawlessly for me otherwise.

And refresh WORKS when LL are "gone" for the day. Today I got a 2:30 Remy at 12:30 by refreshing while waiting in (our brief) line for Frozen.

And yesterday I got a 5:30 Slinky at 4:00ish as we were exiting the park.
