is there typically early entry the day after 24 hour event?

From the historical hours I have found online it appears there is no early entry the day after the 24 hour events held within the last 4 years.

The fact they are allowing Minnie and Friends reservations based on a magic morning for March 1st - should that be a sign that the 24 hour won't be happening on Feb 29th this year or is that something they could just change later or just let those with the reservations in early even though the park is not opening until 10AM?

Just curious - we are so on the fence as to whether we would even go on the 29th, as it's in the middle of our time there, so it'd almost be good if it wasn't an option then we could stop arguing about it.

I generally agree that it probably means there is no 24-hour event planned on Feb 29 this year if they have EMH/MM schedule planned for 3/1.

Well it's "planned" in that they are allowing registration for character breakfasts based on early morning hours, like I said, that might not be a iron clad indication. Disney have altered their plans before. I guess we'll likely find out soon enough as they'd likely announce it soon.

While not a definitive indicator, I would also keep an eye on WDW to see if they announce a 24-hour day. In the past, both DLR and WDW have had their 24-hour days on the same day. So far, WDW has been silent on the matter as well. I think it's more likely to happen on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend based on the blockout calendar than on Feb 29, but anything is possible. Still having dining reservations available as if there is an EMH/MM on March 1 is not a good sign for folks hoping for a 24-hour day on Feb 29.

From the quick internet search...in 2012 they announced it January 1st. So with every day that passes it is less & less likely that it will happen.
