My DH walks with a cane and he loves his video camera...He would love a monopod to use with it but does not want to carry a second thing...

Is there a combo Monopod/ Walking cane out on the market? Has anyone seen any?

Thanks for any and all info...I am coming up ZIP on ebay. Maybe I have the terms wrong.:confused3

I'm almost positive I've seen the existence of such things... even if there wasn't, you'd just need to put the right-size screw in the top of it and then you'd be all set.

You could also consider something like a Clamperpod to clamp onto the top of the cane, if it's got a candy-cane-style top.

I think he wanted it more like a cane but I will show him these options...Thanks

LL Bean has this one.

I have a Trek-pod Go! I LOVE it. It is a walking stick/monopod/tripod.

I highly recommend it. Purchased mine at a photo store locally. It has a magnet set up and I fully trust a camera on!

Here is a link: Trek-pod

Ditto on the trek pod to go. They have a new version of it, which I just purchased. Great little item and I think better than a regular monopod.

I showed him the options, he seems to be leaning this way...Thanks all:thumbsup2

I use a Giotto P.Pod multifunction Monopod MM 5580 (you can see it here), which is really sturdy and can be used as a walking stick. I have used it as both a monopod (mostly shooting kids concerts etc) and as a macro tripod in the garden and I am very happy with it.
