For anyone that has recently sailed on the Very Merrytime Cruise, is there special food items/meals/snacks geared towards the holidays? (ie. eggnog, peppermint, gingerbread flavored, etc.) that we may not have had on our other non Merrytime cruise (this is our first)--3 night leaving on Dec 18. Thanks!

I sailed on the first Merrytime cruise on the Wonder last month and didn't see any special holiday food. But, that may have or will change since it is getting closer to Christmas.

I was on the Wonder last December and mulled cider was available for purchase in the atrium...smelled yummy

I just was off a Very Merrytime cruise, and i didn't see any special holiday food. We did participate in the gingerbread house making activity, and we snacked on it over the rest of the cruise.

We just got off the Magic and there was some holiday food in Cabanas and the counter service restaurants. I just didnt pay much attention as to what these items were. They has special holiday tags... I think one was vanilla nutmeg french toast, turkey and cranberry sandwich, things like that. Plus some holiday drinks including special coffees. And the special warm mulled wine in the lobby that someone mentioned. I tried it and it was yummy, pretty reasonable too, $6 with gratuity. The cast member serving it let me try it first.

There hasn't been any this week. They did have turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce in Cabanas yesterday, but that might be standard fare.

In November we had mulled cider or wine in the atrium - not sure which as I did not have any. The was also the Jingle Bell DOTD.

Sign up to make a gingerbread house early in your cruise. Smells good in your cabin and you can nibble on it. The gingerbread was really good!

I ate so much other food on my four night cruise last week that I ate only a very small part of my house before the cruise ended. They said it couldn't be taken off the ship. Not sure why, customs said no to fresh fruit, meat, seafood, soil. Gingerbread houses were not prohibited. I wish I put it in a bag and packed it in my luggage.

Just off of the Merry Time cruise on the Wonder and there was a table set up by the gingerbread house during the Santa meet and greet that had hot chocolate and gingerbread cookiies on it. It smelt really good in the Atrium!

Only pre-packaged food may be taken from the ship. Once the gingerbread house has been assembled, it's no longer "pre-packaged". It's open food.
