that you can talk to someone about the DVC? (Disney vacation timeshare?) I have so many questions but I would love just to talk to someone when I'm there in November. Thanks so much!

There sure is!! There's carts EVERYWHERE where you can get info. (inside both parks and in DTD) so I'm sure the people on those would be able to answer any questions you have!! :thumbsup2

I SO wanted to go join up!!! ;)

Yes, there are booths in several locations, and now they have a DVC model set up over near the Paradise Pier Hotel - I think it has models of the studio and one-bedroom units at Saratoga Springs.

There's several DVC forums available here, too - you can ask lots of questions there.

There most certainly is! That's where we bought our DVC!

Basically you will talk to someone at one of the kiosks. They will set up a time for you to talk to one of the Vacation Club guides. The vacation club van will pick you up in front of DL :moped: (where the busses pick up and drop off) and take you to the DVC offices (it was by the DLH when we went, but the location may have changed since the models are up now). They will give you all the info you need and answer your questions. Our guide was very helpful and extremely nice :goodvibes We felt no pressure to purchase, they took their time with us, it really was a wonderful experience. :goodvibes

The models were not up when we were there so we bought only seeing the video. When we go next May, I plan on checking them out since we haven't ever been to WDW (we're going later in 2007 though - I can't wait! :bitelip: ) and this will be our first chance to see the rooms in person.

If you want to know anything else about our experience, just let me know. I love talking about DVC

I gotta warn you, taking the tour might seal your fate! We had been seriously thinking about joining for some time. In February of 2005 we were at WDW took the tour to just "see" and bought on the spot. I have never done something that major, that fast in my life! Its a great product and they know how to sell it. No regrets but just be warned if you love Disney, owning "a piece of the magic" can be very tempting. And yes they do have a DVC sales office/center sort of near the DLH and PP's parking garage.

He-he! We had also been "thinking about" it for a few years. (we love the Boardwalk). We finally took the tour and were both hooked! Be sure and get your fastpasses as a thankyou gift for going to the presentation. We are really looking forward to using our points (we've booked the Grand Californian for Jan. & will book it again for May for our son & his wife for their honeymoon - for a few nights before they go to Maui.)

There are several carts and desk locations where you can get DVC info and speak to a DVC CM. A few carts in both parks, in Downtown Disney and in every hotel on property.

It's a highly visual promotion, all over the DL Resort ... yet Disney is still using "Disney's Best Kept Secret!" as a tagline. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

The DVC boards here on the DIS were extremely helpful when I made the decision to buy into DVC. You can get any question answered by the DIS-DVC experts over there. :wave2:

Definately go check out the model rooms to the South-west of the DLH. The offices are in what they refer to as BOB (the Big Orange Building). Even if you don't have an appointment, you can usually just go there and ask for a guide to give you a tour and info. We bought last December and haven't stayed yet, but we wanted to see the rooms. The guide was so nice and showed them to us and it was fun to see what we owned a little piece of.

We are using some of our points to stay at the GCH in September. I am so excited. Then we get to take our first trip "home" in January.

Do check out the DVC forums on the DISboards. They have so much information and the DISers are so great at answering questions. I don't think I would have purchased without all of the help & support from people on these boards.
