Is there something funky going on with Jambo availability?

I am not an owner but a renter, so I have to use the availability checker online that gets updated twice a day. Thus far, it has been really accurate. It's showing Jambo studio as available all of July, and most of June. However when I try and get someone to book for me with points, it says it is full. I have never seen it to be this level of off before. Are availability glitches something that happen?

There is a lot of availabilty for June and July so it would really just depend on the specific dates and room type that you're looking for. Even if 1 night is missing from the week that you're trying for in a specific room type they wouldn't be able to get it for you.

Right now, things are changing so often that even those calendars will not be accurate,

I have seen things change within 5 minutes after booking something. So, until someone can actually book, you won’t know for sure.

One of the issues with that timeframe is it falls during 4th of July weekend which is popular and low availability.

Which resort and rooms are you referring to? I am not seeing that issue generally. There are large numbers of rooms open the entire week. Many of those not open are ones that typically have availability issues before eight months out and are missing more than the 15th or in number of case have the 15th open but not a number of other nights. The only ones that I saw with only the 15th gone are Jambo standard studios/2BRs and the Riviera standard 1BR and that would not represent anything put of the ordinary.

I was looking at Jambi standard studios and two bedrooms. It just seemed odd to have that random day in the middle of the week gone for both? I’m hoping by September it will open up.

I have seen that happen before at other resorts and wonder what random thing is it,

I was just looking at RIV for August a few days ago and for some strange reason, the 8th was booked, but still rooms the 5 to 7, and the 9th and beyond were open.

Note that the Jambo standard 2BRs are all lock-offs and thus when the studios fill the 2BRs necessarily also disappear. The usual cause of that random day is that it is simply the first day in the week to fill and for which the check-outs do not exceed the check-ins, while the other days around that one are also close to being filled.

I didn’t even think about the two bedroom being a lock off.

I just checked and the same day is also taken at kidani (9/15) with full availability before and after that date.

Are you renting from some directly? I would find someone with points and then have them keep checking honestly.

Whatever you want likely will open up if you can find someone willing to checking on and off. Exception will be Value Rooms and possibly Club Rooms (which is still closed).

You know that Jambo likely won't be open by then right? So possibly things like Quick Service, Restaurants, and store will not be open at the resort.
